Coolest Toasting Flutes!

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

A wintertime theme was my idea of the perfect wedding theme, so we got married in January. A wedding built around snow and ice can be wonderful, and there are plenty of items you can obtain to make it happen. From wedding invitations to wedding favors there are all kinds and styles of accessories to choose from for almost any themed wedding you’re planning to have. We went with a cool blue and silver look to our ceremony. Our altar had replica snowflakes next to the unity candle and other candles, which all had a wintry look to them. It was a magical wedding.
The white tableclothes at our reception looked lovely next to the red table runners on each table. In the middle of each reception table sat freshly cut white orchids inside of a glimmering silver vase, and it all went with the wintery ambiance wonderfully. Our reception place card holders were ornaments that looked like little snowballs. They double as both card holders and ornaments, and they do a charming job at both. As wedding thank you gifts for our friends and family we decided on these incredible toasting flutes and little novelty champagne bottles favors with bubbles. If you’re looking for a wonderful way to say thank you, champagne flutes do the trick. Our reception hall called to mind a scene of freshly-fallen snow in the middle of winter. Our three tiered wedding cake sat on a unique little sled designed cake stand and had a topper that was a porcelain snowflake to complete our winter wedding cake. I picked out the cake serving set on the net, and it had wintery designs on it, too. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. It was an exact match for the sign-in book and pen set I had bought.
The handles on the wedding flute matched the sign in book and cake serving set we had, all with winter designs. They had the little snowflakes and were done in white and icy blue colors and were really exquisite with all the other winter themed accessories on our wedding table. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. We got our flower girl a necklace and we we let her keep the small crown she wore in the ceremony, and she was pleased with both of them. The ring boy thought the ring bearer tee shirt and stainless steel yoyo was pretty cool. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. For his groomsmen, he has ordered digital portable clocks and for his best man, a nice novelty pen desk set and best man mug. I think everyone was really happy with the thank you favors they received and I think they all had a great time at the reception.
The array of wedding materials I found on the net made our ceremony and reception a dream come true, for both of us. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. I found supplies for both the wedding and the honeymoon online. We got a ‘Do Not Disturb’ pillow to hang on our doorknob, along with hats and shirts for newlyweds. The ‘Do Not Disturb’ pillow ended being a very practical choice.

Coolest keepsake wedding gift!

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

I wanted to have a wedding that was not only full of great memories for me, but for our friends and family as well. So when I when to pick out gifts, I picked out things that they could remember it by. The gifts I bought were meant to be reminders of what an outstanding wedding day and night we had together. That’s why I started with keepsake gifts and worked my way down to a wedding invitation keepsake. There were a lot of wedding items to choose from on the internet, with suggestions of very nice items for both ceremonies and receptions. I was able to find everything I needed for my wedding reception as far as accessories go.
On all of my reception tables were floral centerpieces I had made up at the florist and gorgeous floral scented candles that looked as if they were covered in lace and came with a pretty little ceramic holder. .
I found some precious little picture frames with beads around them that I could use for my place card holders. If figured that if I wanted the folks who attended my reception to have good gift keepsakes, the best way to do it was by giving them practical favors. If you’re giving a present anyway, I’ve always felt that you might as well get something that they can make use of somehow. Those kind of party favors just end up in the trash or sitting in a drawer somewhere collecting dust. I did my best to make sure that the gifts handed out to our relatives and other loved ones were going to be remembered. Since almost everyone drinks coffee or tea, I got all of the people at our reception a bistro coffee mug. It’s a product that any person can utilize, and the ones I got looked really cool. I bought a bunch of pretty hang tags to put on the boxes they arrived in, but the containers were so nice-looking that I just kept them in the boxes they came in.
Reception supplies and accessories were easy to find on the world wide web. Our wedding cake topper was really something special. I decided to go with something with special meaning to us.
Playing football in a friend’s yard is what we were doing the first time we met. So our first meeting was in the middle of a memorable tackle attempt on his part and I thought the topper I found with the bride and groom playing football was an excellent choice. The memories of my wedding day and the day we first met are both triggered by that cake topper. [spin]I was really surprised that I had found such a novel wedding cake topper as this one was, and not only that, I also found gorgeous wedding

Coolest wedding guest books

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

The amount of possibilities can be overwhelming when you’re when putting together a ceremony and reception, but it’s also quite a thrill at the same time. When my daughter was going to be a bride, the most difficult part of helping her out was getting her to decide on something. She had to select the kind of wedding she wanted to begin with, either one with a specific type of motif, or to go with a more standard type of ceremony. We looked through all the themed wedding possibilities and she just couldn’t decide. At first she thought about a garden wedding, and then she considered a beach themed wedding and reception. Having a standard wedding ceremony and reception was what my daughter decided, at last, would be the best option for her. With that decision finally out of the way, we were able to start planning.
The church was reserved, and so was the reception hall, and all of the invitations had been sent out. The wardrobe for both the bride and the wedding party had been picked out already, so we were able to zero in on things that we’d need in order to put on the reception. We had to pick out a wedding guest book and a photo album and a few other items that we’d need. A lot of the many wedding guest books we found had gorgeous art work on them. There were many gorgeous wedding pens to choose from too, that matched with many of the guestbooks. Our new bride discovered a six piece wedding set with rhinestones that had bows and satin boxes, both white, as we were nearing the end of our shopping. Together with a beautiful wedding garter and unity candle were an fabolous flower basket and ring pillow. This gorgeous satin set also included a personalized wedding guest book that also matched perfectly. We were so surprised to find so many beautiful wedding items all in one set for one low price. We also found the perfect wedding album with a place for special keepsakes and scrap-booking pages as well. Talk about a wonderful picture book to cherish your memories with.
The last things to take care of was place card holders, a wedding cake topper, and gifts for the guests. That was all we had left to pick out. She chose a lovely wedding cake topper with two doves made of glazed porcelain. Those doves will make an outstanding piece for her to treasure forever. Every guest got a place card holder at the reception that was silver and in the shape of a picture frame. The people at the reception would be able to use the frames once the dinner was over, and my daughter thought that was a something they’d like. After looking at all of the items she selected for her ceremony and reception, I’d say she did a pretty good job of it. The extra cash she was able to hang on to by finding good deals is going to get spent when they go on the honeymoon.
The look and experience of our wedding day was a smashing success with our guests. My daughter and her new husband looked so wonderful as they danced their first dance as man and wife. The memories of that night were terrific; I danced until my feet got sore, and I don’t regret a second of it. With my daughter married, she may have a baby girl at some point in their lives. Well, when that day comes, I know exactly where I’ll go to get the supplies and shower favors for the baby shower I’ll throw. Whatever you’re planning a party for, that website has anything you could possibly need. As far as purchasing things on the web goes, that is my number one place to look.

Coolest jewelry box online!

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

Picking out the accessories for my ceremony and the supplies for my reception wasn’t half as hard as trying to choose something nice for my bridesmaids. I just couldn’t seem to come across anything that they would really appreciate. I saw all kinds of possiblities for wedding favors for bridesmaids and wedding guests on the Internet. Trying to select just the right one is where it got difficult. There were also a lot of great deals on thank you gifts that I found at a discount. I got a really good deal on a wedding set that had a ring bearer pillow, a flower girl basket, a guest book, a pen, and eight pieces in total. I saved a ton on that. Instead of having to buy each piece separately, I was able to purchase it all together at a great low price.
I knew my bridesmaids would be thrilled if I got them an elegant jewelry box, and I found just that while I was perusing through the thank you gifts. In fact there were a few nice wedding jewelry boxes that I could choose from. My head was swirling from all of the options out there for thank you presents, and I had to just go work on some other part of the wedding to get my focus back. I had almost everything I needed for the ceremony, but there was a few more things I needed to pick out for my reception. I didn’t have my wedding cake topper yet, nor did I have the wedding favors for my friends and family, so that’s where I went next. I picked out some really cute bride and groom salt and pepper shakers and chrome bottle openers shaped like doves. Normally, I would have gotten some containers for the chrome openers, but the boxes they came in were so adorable that I just went with those. The groomsmen all got a Swiss Army Knife type things from my groom, complete with a file and cork screw.
The topper I finally decided on was a bride and groom embracing and it was really quite lovely on top of our wedding cake. I looked at several different styles, and almost bought the monogram cake topper with silver brushed initials and crystals, but I fell for the embracing couple instead. Now, I had everything but the gifts for my girls, so I had to make a final decision. I bought them all a piece of finest wedding jewelry, and I put it in wholesale jewelry boxes. The piece I got each of the bridesmaids was a glittery rhinestone bangle. It was just perfect for them even though it probably sounds like a bit much. There were a lot of choices of discount wedding jewelry available, which meant I could get them something really nice, and still save money. I also got a some pearl wedding jewelry for myself, and wore it in my wedding ceremony. There were some awesome bargains on very elegant jewelry items. The groomsmen were pleased with what my hubby got them, and the bridesmaids were thrilled with theirs.
It turned out to be the best day of my life and we all had such a great time at the reception. My groom’s brother caught the garter, and my sister, who’s also not dating anyone, managed to grab the bouquet. Is it just coincidence, or is it fate? Who knows, maybe one day they will be in our spot and my sister would then be my sister in law as well, that’s really weird. Anything is possible!

Nice candle wedding favors

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

There are so many options for wedding favors for friends and family attending your ceremony and reception. There are picture frames that can also be used as place card holders, novelty favors for almost every season or theme, and many other super ideas. I chose to go with some lovely candle wedding favors because they are very decorative, and you can get a lot of use out of a gift like that. With the decorative favor boxes I found online, I also wanted to attached personalized hang tags on each gift.
I also bought lovely wedding candle centerpieces, just to add to the décor of all my reception tables. They really looked nice with all the other decorations and the lovely centerpieces I got from the florist. When I was looking for favors, I found candles for other occasions too, like a lovely candle wedding for someone that’s throwing a bridal shower, and candle party favors for graduations, birthdays and more. It’s not just candles that my online store has, but they do have a heck of a selection of wedding and other party supplies and accessories.
I bought a complete five piece wedding set which has a wedding guestbook and matching pen set, flower basket, ring pillow and a very nice wedding garter. That really helped us out in the financials of buying all the wedding supplies we need. One of the best things about my online shopping store is the low cost, with so many items at discount prices, including candles wedding favors.
The cake topper we ordered was really unique and was worth a lot more than what it cost us. They made the wedding couple on our cake topper look exactly like us and it was the talk of the reception. They used head shots of me and my fiance to make the bride and groom figurines. The wedding cake itself was pretty magnificent too, with three tiers of chocolate perfection and gorgeous red and and pink flowers all around it. The calla lily cake serving set was one that I just absolutely went nuts over and it just looked so delicate lying next to our beautiful cake.
The crystal flutes we got for our friends and family were for them to keep and we ordered special bride and groom flutes for our bridal table. There was no point in keeping them, what would I do with 200 champagne flutes? Besides, we were stocked with keepsakes from our wedding and reception, with our wedding guestbook, album, cake topper and more. Our lovely five piece set that I ordered in gorgeous claret, had our guest book with a small area for little keepsakes, pages for the guests to put their names and list the gifts each guest brought. I think the guest book is important, not only to have everyones’ name that attended, but for later use when you are filling out thank you notes. It makes your guests appreciate the thank you notes with you remember what they gave you in way of wedding gifts.
A few of the guests commented on what unique candle wedding favors we gave them and they really seemed to appreciate them. I guess I picked out the right gifts. Everyone also told me what a great time they were having at the reception, and as we were leaving they all gave us their best wishes for a happy life. Our wedding day is a day that will live long in our memories.

Nice new wedding favors!

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

I look back at my wedding day and see the difference in how things have changed in decorations and how great they look. I found so many different decorations and every kind of embellishment you could think of on the internet. Beach party weddings can be one of the most fantastic ceremonies with seashells and starfish to help decorate with. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. You could get beautiful new wedding accessories for all 4 seasons. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. To me having a wedding in the winter outside would be a beautiful site to see and yet a little way out of the norm. If I were planning a wedding it would have to be indoors and not outside in the cold. The best place for a winter wedding would be in a setting with a warm cozy fire and warm atmosphere.

An autumn wedding is so gorgeous and one of my favorite seasons, and has lot to offer in wedding accessories and reception supplies. With all the gorgeous colors and the pumpkins, gourds and just the fresh clean smell in the air, the fall season seems to me to be the best season for a wedding. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Today there are so many various weddings you can plan, that you can have the wedding you always wanted. There are even long distance weddings, where everybody takes a trip to where the wedding will take place. It’s like having a family elopement. You can choose from a terrific new party favor selection - they have everything from old style weddings to long distance weddings.

My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. At first I thought that idea was just a little out there, but the more we got into the actual planning, the more I liked it. She found cake toppers that have a western theme to them, plus everything she needed for her bridal table, including western champagne flutes. They had a style of there own. She hired a country band and placed grills and hay around for the party setting. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. She bought cute little cowboy hats to use as place card holders and added wildflowers in little watering cans as the centerpieces. It amazed me when I found out that they were having the wedding at a ranch because I never heard of renting one for a special occasion before. Many of the wedding decorations that she ordered online are a great match for her country western wedding. She also purchased cowboy hats for herself and her groom and the most adorable new weddings for her guests.

Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. They even planned to have some country western line dancing in the barn. So, I’ve decided to get on the band wagon and go shopping for a pair of cowboy boots, hat and blue jeans and get ready to celebrate this wedding the country way. This wedding is going to be the wedding of the year and probably won’t be forgotten for a long time. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.
